Three steps to… managing multi-channel opt-in status
Now that we’ve extended Ometria’s channel capabilities to offer SMS and Push notifications, we’ve built more ways to update your customer’s preference options. Understanding your opt-ins is as easy as 1, 2, 3….
The first way you can see which channel a customer is opted-in to is by using our new customer filters - these are present anywhere you would usually build an audience: segment explorer, orders and products reports, campaign builders etc. Group audiences to send cross-channel messages to the right people in the right way.
Next, use our new columns in the contacts tab, under the segment explorer, to report on your subscriptions for SMS and push notifications. Layer this opt-in data with other fields such as customer value and lifecycle stage to better understand your cross-channel database.
Finally, we’ve added push notifications and SMS status to the single customer view, meaning you can get an overview of a contact's entire purchase, visit and cross-channel behaviour all in one place!

I really loved this email from Melissa Odabash, which packed in a huge amount of content whilst still feeling as light and fresh as the sleek swimwear being advertised. The campaign combines multiple key features: it first focuses on Melissa herself, giving contacts a really personal connection with the brand’s founder and ethos, and it encompasses social media in a fun and engaging way - highlighting real pieces being worn out in the world, whilst simultaneously encouraging fans to follow Melissa’s instagram and see even more beach-inspo! It also has a great ‘complete the look’ story, displaying complimentary product recommendations and other items in the collection, alongside the main hero image. For those of us dreaming of a sun-drenched retreat, it’s a bright and clean email which balances product promotion and social engagement well.
