Learning how to drive repeat purchases with the Product Report
It can be really useful to know which products to market to your customers as they shop with you and maximise the chances of another purchase. There’s no need to leave it up to guess work to understand customers buying behaviours and trends. You can utilise the Product report to understand what products to leverage to drive up key metrics such as Repeat rate, something which we’ll want to get in front of pre-peak. In the following example, I use the report to understand what products customers bought in their 2nd order:
First... Navigate to Products report in the Reports tab of your Ometria account. Select a date range you want to analyse. In the Orders filter add Order customer sequence > equal to > 2 and Apply filter.
Next choose how you want to order the report by using the Group by dropdown menu. Selecting Category or Colour rather than Product will provide further insight into which attributes are trending.
Finally click on the column headers to reorder the report by Units sold or Product revenue to best understand which products were most popular in getting your customers to place a second order.
