Hey there, it’s Liam and Reece here from the Customer Success team, with some of our highlights from the past month. Hit 'reply' to get in touch with any questions!
At Ometria we are always striving to improve client experience. Whilst this is most evident in our product updates and through Customer Success initiatives like the Digest, we also have been working behind the scenes to improve the reactive assistance that our Support Team provides. April has seen the launch of two new Support features, Live Chat and Status Page.
Ometria’s new live chat feature allows us to provide our clients with technical support in real-time. To initiate a chat, click on the Support icon in the Ometria app, then select Get in touch > Live chat. This new feature allows for the swift and efficient resolution to any simple technical queries, from enabling the website overlay, to adding new products to Ometria. If anything arises which appears more complex, we will simply create a ticketed request for you, and notify you in the chat.
Alongside live chat, we have also launched the Ometria Status Page. This feature allows you to check the live status of Ometria’s core systems all in one place- from messaging, to the JavaScript tracker, to our APIs. The status page provides both live and historical status data, and allows you the ability to subscribe for live updates via email, text, Slack or Atom Feed/RSS Feed. The status page can be reached directly from the help centre by selecting the link at the top of any screen, or you can follow the link below.
From showing different hero images depending on gender, to tiered discounts related to a contact’s loyalty status, hiding or revealing a template section is as easy as 1, 2, 3...
First: When building an automation or broadcast template in the template builder, select the block you want to use dynamically and add it to your template. Then click on the cog-wheel in the top right corner.
Then: You’ll be given the option to hide the block from those who are either in, or not in, a particular lifecycle stage or saved segment. This is your opportunity to add a whole new level of personalisation on top of your segmentation strategies.
Finally: Once you’re happy with your selection, save it and you will see that the block is greyed out and labelled as ‘hidden’ in the builder. Preview and test how the template will look to different recipients, then get sending!
Campaign close-up
Held every year on April 22, Earth Day is a chance for those worldwide to celebrate our planet and look towards developing a sustainable future. This year at Ometria, we marked the occasion by sharing that we are now a carbon neutral company, whilst many of our clients similarly spoke of their environmental initiatives and successes. Green People in particular produced a savvy yet delightful broadcast campaign, promoting their organically farmed beauty products and their eco-friendly packaging.
This campaign was particularly impressive in how it encouraged a number of Green People products without compromising their brand identity. A hero image celebrating Earth Day was seamlessly followed by the promotion of 4 low waste products, with the text promoting these items celebrating their sustainability, whilst the CTA buttons redirected contacts to their respective product ranges.
Below the fold was a further editorial touch, linking to a blog post about “Planet-Friendly Beauty Tips”, before Green People utilised our dynamic block feature to indicate different offers to contacts dependent on their Loyalty Lion points. This was a further example of how this broadcast weaved together brand identity with incentives for contacts to make a purchase.
