Hey there, it’s Liam here from the Customer Success team, with some of our highlights from the past month. Hit 'reply' to get in touch with any questions!
Just like that we’re in half two of twenty twenty two! Not that I need to give you an excuse, but now is as good a time as any to dive into your reporting in your Ometria account and review your performance for that first period. The eagle eyed would have already noticed our improvements to the Automation Campaign performance with increased granular automation exports functionality.
Now CRM teams who are regularly exporting their automation campaign KPI data into CSV format for analysis in external tools can export this data broken down by:
Time unit (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly)
Campaign node level (segment node, split test node, send node)
Campaign version (either grouped or separate rows)
This means you can gain top level overviews or very granular insights with ease. For example, you can select your review period as H1 2022, select your time unit as “Month” and allow Ometria to generate all your automation campaign KPIs broken down into monthly periods in just one download.
For those with a high number of automation campaigns, extensive segmentation (including segmenting by market) or love to A/B test, you’ll be able to analyse your automations in great detail without needing to go into each individual campaign using the Group by > Segment node or Split test node respectively.
No matter what your automation coverage looks like in your business, Ometria’s made getting the insights you need to refocus your efforts for the remainder of 2022 super easy.
Recoup time spent editing spreadsheets post export
Alongside the enhanced export functionality, there have been a number of UI improvements to the campaign performance overview page to help users have more control in surfacing more relevant campaign summaries and create consistent data exports. Reducing the amount of spreadsheet editing post export is as easy as 1, 2, 3…
First: In the Automations campaigns tab of your accounts Campaign Performance, select the checkbox: ✅ Hide campaigns with no activity. Any campaigns with no activity during your set time range will be hidden.
Next: Before exporting, deselect all the Columns in the dropdown before reselecting the ones relevant to the KPIs your business reports on.
Finally: Select Export to download the data, naming your export and selecting the options that best suit your needs. Just like that, more time back to crunch through the data and determine your next areas of focus.
Campaign close-up
Sunday Shirting is Ledbury's long standing product focused email touchpoint which introduces a different style of shirt each send. It does a great job of nurturing its’ recipients, highlighting both product and company unique selling points, getting you clued up on materials, manufacturing details, design elements and surfacing relevant styling advice.
Each product featured in Sunday Shirting is supported with a time limited incentive of Free Shipping for the following 7 days. I’m very fond of how they have maximised their return on incentive through a couple of ways:
Firstly, to their SMS database, they are sending a text message on the featured shirt with a customer testimonial prior to the email send, reinforcing cross channel communications and priming contacts with relevant reviews and advocacy.
Secondly, they’ve embellished the product pages on their website to include a countdown timer to further increase urgency.
With recurring email features, such as Sunday Shirting, there is more opportunity for teams to put into place cross channel experiences where the same frameworks can be reused, only with minor changes to content, even with limited internal resources.
